Prof. Rashidat Oluwafunke  Ayanniyi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences University of Ilorin. Pioneer Ag. Head,  Department of  Pharmacology and Toxicology from 2013-2017. Ag. Dean Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences from 2018-2019. She is currently the Postgraduate Coordinator for Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology. Research interest include; Ethnopharmacology, Cardiovascular Pharmacology, Toxicology, Pharmacology Education. Dr. Ayanniyi was awarded Tetfund Resaerch Grant in 2017 and British Pharmacological Bursary Award in 2014 during the 17th World Congress of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology held in South Africa. She has several scientific publications in National and International Journals. She is a member of professional societies including; Nigerian Society for Pharmacological Sciences and Experimental Therapeutics (NISPET) 2020 till date. American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) 2017 till date. West African Society of Pharmacology (WASP) 2013 till date and Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) 1997 till date.
